Over 20 years experience in healing massage and reflexology.

Based just south of the Gold Coast Debbie was looking to share her knowledge and fulfil her passion of wanting to help mothers fall pregnant and provide them with the support they need through reflexology for babies, themselves and other family members.

Debbie has identified the presence of many imbalances in the body. Such as helping to bring down blood pressure, improve hormone balance, early detection of diabetes, recognising breast lumps, and helping many couples fall pregnant and deliver babies.

A passion for helping mothers fall pregnant, guiding them during their pregnancy, sharing points for a more confident delivery, and teaching them to soothe their babies with the simple art of understanding reflexology.

“My biggest thrill is working with pregnant women. As a first time mum or an experienced mum, I can spot the signs to steer them confidently through their pregnancy. By feeling their feet, I can detect if they are susceptible to gestational diabetes and can spot that in the early stages even before a blood test. If they are told by their doctor their placenta is low I can encourage the uterus to pull up that side. ere are points to help bring on labour…although a soul will not come in unless it is ready. I have a mother who has had three babies and each time she comes in just before her due date, then she delivers three days later!

My wish is to have Reflexology in every household! To alleviate that feeling of helplessness a parent often feels when their child is distressed or hurting. ere is so much I can teach. Pressure points for partners (or a family member that will be in the delivery room), can help enormously with the management of anxiety and pain, dilation of the cervix for a quicker transition into the second stage. Often the birthing of the placenta (third stage) is fraught with concern. Not with reflexology as there is a point to press that causes the uterus to gently spasm, letting the placenta release from the wall of the womb without trauma.

Reflexology points on a baby’s foot are small but effective. Learning to press the right spot can calm a baby, help with wind or constipation, even teething and earaches if infection hasn’t set in. I encourage a visit with me within 4 to 6 weeks after the birth. Reflexology will bring the uterus back into shape, stimulate blood ow for quicker healing, check for lumps to avoid mastitis. While massage will realign the muscles and ligaments that were stretched in the birth process and may have settled unevenly, before the soft bones lose the progesterone and solidify into the wrong place.
